Alfons Scholing is a versatile artist with a background in graphic design, graffiti, and animation. Born in Amsterdam on July 2nd, 1978, Scholing began his creative journey by studying graphic design at the Graphic Lyceum in Utrecht and later the Royal Art Academy in The Hague.

After completing his studies, Scholing became well known in the design and freelance agency scene in and around Amsterdam. He quickly gained a reputation for his innovative designs and unique approach to graphic art.

Scholing’s love for graffiti began at the age of twelve when he first started spray painting on the walls of his hometown. As he continued to develop his skills, Scholing became a respected member of the graffiti community and started the ‘Enemie’ crew Amsterdam. He used the graffiti name ‘dads’ before settling on ‘I see zombies’, which is now widely recognized as his signature tag.

Scholing’s graffiti career included creating a range of characters, from simple tags to more elaborate and detailed works. He quickly established himself as one of the most talented and innovative graffiti artists in Amsterdam, earning him the respect of his peers and the admiration of the public.

As Scholing’s career evolved, he began freelancing at major advertising and design agencies in Amsterdam. He worked with well-known intermediary agencies that helped him hone his skills and develop his art. Over time, he established a unique style that blended his passion for graphic design, animation, and graffiti.

In 2011, Scholing wrote a letter of application for the position of vice president of the Council of State of the Royal Dutch family. As part of his campaign, he used his graphic design skills to create a social media campaign to promote his candidacy. Although he did not win the position, Scholing’s innovative campaign caught the attention of the public and earned him even greater respect in the design community.

Today, Scholing continues to create innovative designs and push the boundaries of what is possible in graphic design, animation, and graffiti. He has become an influential figure in the Amsterdam creative scene and continues to inspire and motivate artists around the world.
